Vintage 1973 NORDISK Kongsberg Duffel Brown - ~12" x 12" x 24" 65L
I bought this in Manhattan at the original Abercrombie & Fitch in June, 1973 on my first trip to Mauretania. It's been all over the world with me and has been a great travel companion, but I'm 73 now and it's time to send it on its next trek. It weighs only 3 pounds and is made of heavy cotton canvas. It measures ~12" x 12" x 24" when closed, a volume of 65 litres. It has a large main compartment and a small exterior patch pocket for valuables and easy-to-grab stuff. There is an internal patch flap with a few of my old patches and pins. It has a strong carry handle and two padded back straps for carrying cross shoulder or as a backpack. On the bottom I sewed a piece of innertube for when i set it on wet ground. There are 2 small chaffed spots neat the throat of the bag, otherwise it is in excellent vintage and used condition.
