This sale is for one (1) Underwood factory original Black Oxide thumbscrew used to secure the ribbon spools on your Underwood 3 and 4 bank typewriters, it is necessary to secure the ribbons on their spindles otherwise when you carry the typewriters the ribbons fall out in the case. This Black Oxide thumbscrew will fit both the Underwood Standard Portable 3 and 4 Bank typewriters and has a Black Oxide finish - this is one of the original Thunb-screws installed on the machines 100-years ago.
