DIXSON Tach-Dwell meter, USA Made
It is used to set the points on a running engine. The way it works is the black wire goes to ground and the red one goes to the - side of the coil. There are 2 scales, for 4-6-8 cylinders. It also measures engine rpm. The meter will only work on an engine having an older points type ignition. It has a switch to select dwell angle, or RPM
