Diamond gasoline* fueled self-heating Iron F*S

This is my Mother's Diamond gasoline-fueled self-heating iron. She used it in the 30s before her childhood home in Garyville, Louisiana was electrified in the late 30s. This thing really does heat using gasoline, it is, in fact, a small self-contained blowtorch that you light with a match to iron your clothes. I wouldn't suggest that you try ironing with this, but it is a cool artifact of early 20th century engineering.
