Here is a legendary Disston D-8 Fast Cutting, 24in 8 point crosscut saw that dates prior to 1928. The saw plate is made from chrome/nickel steel and it has a maple double looped handle that just fits your hand like a glove, The shape of the D-8 saw and the angle of the handle still look modern over 125 years after they were designed. The applewood handle places the user's hand closer to the work and at a more comfortable angle for the wrist. Made in the USA - the absolute best of its kind.

A full 24" plate, hand sharpened to the factory 8 PPI crosscut profile.

This saw is for the woodworker that is happy to work unplugged, you'll know what I mean when you read this, it's like fast food vs slow food, it's getting back to the heart of woodworking & using your hands, not flicking a switch.

As described in Disston's 1918 catalog:

This is the original Skewback Saw, and has proved to be the most popular saw in the world. Skew-back, Refined Crucible Steel blade, Warranted, Apple handle, full Polished, Brass screws. These Saws have all the latest improvements in hand saws, and are warranted superior. They combine the popular "Skewback," the peculiar shaped butt or heel which, with the new screws, make it almost impossible to work loose from the handle, and gives the full sweep of the Saw without the possibility of catching in the work. This saw was originated and patented by HENRY DISSTON in 1874.
