1940s Bartsch Infant’s Food Warming Dish, Made in the USA   believe it or not!
This is a circa 1940’s young child’s or infant’s food warming dish. There is a threaded stopper that can be removed to allow one to fill the bottom half of the dish with hot water in order to keep the food warm. The dish is divided into three sections to separate foods. The pattern here is one that features Little Bo Peep and her sheep. This dish has a very deco design, it was made by the Bartsch Manufacturing Co., and the maker's mark states patented 7-11-44. The bottom half of the dish is chrome plated copper and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing to the ceramic. The chrome bottom has some minor cleaning scratches and just one small ding.
