Vintage Hilton Hotel Silver Plate Sugar Bowl International Silver Co 8oz USA
This appeared in my home in 1953, when my Dad came back from a transit convention held at the Hilton Chicago. The Chicago Hilton was at the time the largest hotel in the world with 3,000 guest rooms, 27 chair barber shop, a pharmacy, a candy shop, a five-lane bowling alley, 1,200 seat movie theatre and an18 hole miniature golf course atop the hotel, minus one sugar bowl. I suspect he lifted it from the Boulevard Supper Club table!! This sugar bowl is made of heavy silver plate by International Silver Co in the United States during the Art Deco style period between 1900-1950.
