Universal Coffeematic 8 Cup Chrome Percolator with a glass bubbling top F*S
1960's Universal Coffeematic 8 Cup Chrome Percolator with a glass bubbling top looks like it belongs on the 50s TV show Ozzie and Harriet. There is a setting lever on the side to adjust from mild to strong to make your perfect cup of coffee. The pot has been gently used and the inside looks spiffy clean. The chrome is nice and shiny and the lettering is nice showing very little wear. Many people doubt the quality and effectiveness of an electric percolator. This is a "cold perk" unit, just put cold (filtered) water in it, and it begins perking almost immediately, heating the water quickly to just below boiling (190 F), then recirculating the water gently through the ground beans for 10 or 11 minutes (just long enough to extract all the goodness) before automatically shutting down the perk cycle, and throttling back to the "warm" mode (170 F). Diabolically clever, and Oh So Good !
