Underwood 3 and 4 Bank* Standard Portable Original Chrome Spool Thumb Screw (1) New Old Stock

You are purchasing just one (1) genuine Underwood factory original thumbscrew used to secure the ribbon spools on your Underwood 3 and 4 bank typewriter. This thumbscrew is necessary to secure the ribbons onto their spindles otherwise when you carry the typewriters the ribbons fall out in the case. This thumbscrew will fit both the Underwood Standard Portable 3 and 4 Bank typewriters and has a nickel-chrome finish - this is a new and unused Underwood factory original thumb-screws installed on the machines 100 years ago.

Where did this new old stock come from? I began selling and servicing typewriters in 1967 at Cambias Office Machines in New Orleans, La.  Cambias had already been in business for 50 years, and I ended up buying the business from Mr. Cambias in 1987, along with all his service part inventory.  I still have quite a few of these new, and unused replacement thumbscrews.
