Sears 161.211740 Inductive Timing Light with box in excellent condition with original box and instructions. This is used to set the timing of a running engine. The way it works is the black and red wire leads are clipped to the battery, and the inductive pickup is clipped to one of your spark-plug wires. This triggers a strobe light so you can adjust the timing of your engine. This will only work on an engine having an older type ignition. It has a switch to turn the strobe light on and the leads are removable from the timing gun. My receipt is still in the box, I see I paid $34.99 for it on New Year's Eve, 1984!
