My dad died in '97 and its time I let some of his stuff go. I imagine he bought it for some one-time project and it looks like it. I could say it's never been used and you couldn't tell otherwise, but I'm sure he used it a handful of times given the small amount of debris in the body. 


Built by Japan in the 80s, compared to modern tools this feels like a Rolex watch. This is a large, 11-1/2 lb spring loaded plunge router with a 1/2" collet and a plunge depth of 2-1/2 in. The travel limit stud is used with a fine adjustment screw for under-bench use. Travel-limiting nuts are standard 3/8-16 and can replace the find adjustment screw. The baseplate has a large 3-1/2-in. aperture.  Very clean and hardly used, my Dad bought this in 1985 and used it vertically as a shaper but I really don't think he did any more than test it out a few times. Palm grips are missing.
