For a small box, the 6.2a series can deliver a solid 60 watts. These are good for those who have limited space. I paid $389.00 for the pair in 1989, I am downsizing and its time to say farewell to these old friends. H. H. Scott was famous for their quality and tight tolerances, and these speakers are true to that ethos. Made in Maynard, Massachusetts., the crossovers have ;been matched to each set of drivers for every speaker which gives an extremely tight tolerance of .5 % which is the reason for their famous "ruler flat" frequency response. These have matching pair numbers 89-145248 and 89-145249, as they were selected by Scott to match perfectly.
I have never driven them with anything approaching 600 watts and they are acoustically pristine. The gunstock Oak woodgrain housings show little evidence of wear, the corners and edges are sharp and only the bottoms show meaningful scratches.  Cosmetically, I rate then 9 on a 10 scale and being dark they still look great.
