Professionally refurbished Cursive Smith-Corona Corsair - cleaned, serviced, and adjusted to factory specs - This 1960s cursive SCM Smith-Corona Corsair-Deluxe portable typewriter is two-tone, turquoise and white, and comes with a snap-on carrying case. I have sold hundreds of these machines and this is the first and only Cursive I have ever come across. I believe this must have been a custom order machine. The keyboard is in the standard "QWERTY" layout. This machine is ready to type, it has been cleaned, serviced, and adjusted to factory specs. The feed rollers have been cleaned or replaced as necessary and any worn or damaged parts were repaired or replaced. The typewriter body has 100% original color from the factory and the machine has been thoroughly tested. A brand new black/red cotton ribbon installed is freshly installed. The case has only a few marks, scratches, and chips in places that are consistent with age and use - check the photos, but it's in overall great condition. Because the case did its job, the typewriter is pristine! The ribbon is brand new and a spare is included. Very lightweight, these were originally designed to be portable models. It's a great collector's item, and it's also perfect for home use, writing, photoshoots, or props. This great little typewriter was made in England by Smith-Corona Marchant and is just serviced.
