AUTOCALL Model H, 12" fire alarm gong - -restored and gorgeous ca1910

AUTOCALL Model H, 12" fire alarm gong, 6V. The gong rings -VERY- loudly and just once when voltage is applied.  This will wake up everybody in the house. AUTOCALL was founded in Shelby, Ohio in 1908, the company specialized in fire protection and communication equipment. This bell was mounted in my father's elementary school in New Orleans, which was built in 191. I salvaged it when the school was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and had it professionally restored and it is stunning. This gong is ~12" diameter , overall it is ~16" and weighs 14lbs.  The gong is hard steel, and undamped.  When struck, it rings and take ~45 seconds to decay to the point that it is no longer audible.  

This is a spectacularly original piece of early 20th century firefighting equipment, restored to museum quality.  Rig this up with a 6v power supply, and I promise it will startle the bejesus of of anyone standing nearby and not expecting it!!
