This is a genuine cutaway breech section of an A-10, GAU-8/A Gatling cannon, which is the 30 mm hydraulically driven seven-barrel Gatling-style auto-cannon that is mounted in the USAF's Warthog, aka the Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II. The Warthog's airframe was designed around this autocannon. The barrel section is 22" long, this is nicely mounted on a wall plaque display, and weights ~17 pounds.
